Behavior surveys conducted by the Hudson School District assess the health and well-being of youth. The District has surveyed youth since 1985, and has found behavior patterns to have remained consisent over the years. This includes ever using alcohol at 75% and marijuana at 36%. Yet, rode with a driver who has been drinking has seen a downward trend since 1995 by 8%. Hudson School District and community working together can continue to ensure building developmental assets for our youth.
Every five years, students in grades 7, 9 and 11 complete the SEARCH Institute survey. Additionally, every two years, students in grades 6, 8, 10 and 12 complete a Youth Risk Behavior survey.
How did Hudson students respond to questions about risk behaviors?
